Official App State regalia is environmentally conscious GreenWeaver® regalia. This line of graduation wear is made of fabric spun from molten plastic pellets produced from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. An average of 25 plastic bottles are used to produce your cap and gown.
Each year in the United States, more than 35 billion plastic water bottles are thrown away, enough to circle the Earth four times. Most end up in landfills or incinerators, and millions litter streets, parks, and waterways.
The deadline to order your regalia for the Spring 2024 Commencement is April 12, 2024.
Formal academic regalia consisting of a cap (tassel included) and gown and, if applicable, hood (for master's graduates) is required. You may also order stoles. For doctoral regalia, please contact Tami Johnson, via the Campus Store, at johnsontd@appstate.edu or 828-262-3071.
**Please note: You may return your souvenir regalia unopened within 30 days and we will gladly refund you the purchase price less shipping. All returned items must be unopened and in their original packaging. School-specific stoles and year-dated stoles are non-returnable.**
